50% of secondary schools have not registered students for KCSE

The new management at Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has been urged to extend the dateline for the registration of this year's Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).

Uasin Gishu branch Secretary General of the Kenya Post Primary Education Teachers Union (KUPPET) Elijah Maiyo said about 50 percent of secondary schools in the county were not able to register within the set deadline.
